Things don't get much better than Eric Snider's "Snide Remarks"

I typically read blogs via RSS, clicking through to the actual post when occasion permits. But I'm starting to think I should revisit the main page of some of the blogs I read. Case in point: Snide Remarks.

At some point in the years since I've visited his actual website Eric has changed things up. It used to contain a fairly standard list of posts. Now there's an Excel spreadsheet looking layout. Which is a little odd, if you think about it. But also awesome. Here's why:

Visit Snide Remarks.
Chuckle a bit at the thought of using a spreadsheet as the main view of a blog.
Find the column entitled 'Angry Letter', click the arrow next to it. Choose Filters > Yes.
You now have a list of 83 of the awesomest blog posts ever written. Start reading.

If you read one thing today, make sure it's this blog post

I woke up earlier than I like to wake up on Saturdays, so I stayed in bed and read some blags on my phone. This one was awesome enough that I had to get up and tell you about it. Thanks, Steve.

I don't know if they have retarded people working for them or not because I never had to call them and find out!

Sometimes the best customer interaction is no customer interaction at all... At least when contrasted with PrintPlace.com.

spoiler alert: this blog entry contains punchlines

i once spent an entire afternoon telling really terrible jokes to a friend. he was intrigued by them, so he kept asking for more... i'd tell the joke, then he'd write down the punchline so he could remember them.

tell you what. i'll tell you a few of the punchlines. if one of them looks good, let me know and i'll tell you the whole joke :)

it's tomorrow now

i always like it when i realize that it's past midnight and it is an xkcd day. it usually makes my night. it's one of the funniest web comics ever. a perfect mix of sarcasm and nerd jokes. you should go check it out (and be sure to read the hover text for the comics).
